My personal design style is one of contrast. I am a traditionalist at heart, but I use design to look forward. I use traditional techniques, yet I embrace technology. It’s my ambition to continue the family carpentry business, but rework it for the 21st century. I was practically raised in design yet I’m constantly discovering new perspectives on it. I grew up in Canada, but my design ethics come from my German side. There’s no single description for my design style, I just try to take the best of everything and make the result as strong, efficient and durable as possible.
