My motivation as a designer comes from wearables and exploring how theiraugmentation enhances us. Footwear is what pushed me into Industrial Design, so my inspirations have always come from sport and human performance. My experience working with textiles and soft goods over the past few years has deepened my appreciation for the vast array of construction methods that can go into a finished product. The time I’ve spent at OCADu, though, reminds me to look through the product and focus on what these things enable us to do.
