I am excited to be part of the design community at this transformative time. As applications for design methodology are continuously expanded into new fields, embracing design tools such as, people-centered research and participatory design, to uncover people’s needs and produce meaningful solutions.

Interested in how culture and community intersect within the built environment, my practice explores the broader implication of design on the human experience. Knowing, that when a solution resonates with its audience, it has the ability to create a tremendous social change.

To use the words of Northrop Frye, we have to “produce out of the society we have to live in, a vision of the society we want to live in” and I believe it is my role, as a designer, to do just that.
