Jennifer de Vera

In addition to studying at OCADU I have studied or interned in Montreal, London, Copenhagen and Chicago. From my experiences abroad I have learned that design is not just a profession, but also a way of life: it is both function and beauty, both definition and expression, and it is everywhere we go and in everything we encounter. I am fascinated by design and its ability to shape the world we live in, but most importantly by its ability to shape us. As a designer, I would like to be a part of creating meaningful objects and systems with practical applications that inspire or accommodate new behaviours.
